One of my favourite places on Planet Earth is the Namib desert, and its highlight is a visit to Dune 45 and\u00a0Deadvlei. \u00a0I am a keen photographer and the colours this desert gives you makes it easy for everyone to get\u00a0an impressive shot, the red dunes, the blue skies, and in Dead Vlei the beautiful silhouettes of the Camel\u00a0thorn trees which died about 800 years ago but still stand due to the climate that preserves them. \u00a0I cannot\u00a0recommend enough a visit to Namibia. \u00a0As a Tour Leader I have now been there over 20 times and I still love\u00a0it like I was seeing it for the first time, go and take a look for yourself\u2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
